González: “The team's unity has been key”

The coach’s assessment after the win against Osasuna and reaching 45 points

Manolo González talked in his press conference after the 1-2 win at El Sadar, explaining that “we are very happy; the second half of the season has been very tough. We’ve had a really hard time, but the dressing room’s unity has been key during such a bad run. These are players who have given everything to keep Espanyol in the top flight."

The coach also added that “the dressing room are incredibly happy” and that “I was convinced we would get through this."
