Dolan: "Our position in the table is no coincidence"

The forward speaks during the international break

Looking ahead to the return to LaLiga action, Tyrhys Dolan believes that so far his time at RCD Espanyol has been overwhelmingly positive.

The English forward spoke on Wednesday, and explained that the team's sixth-place position in the table is "no coincidence."

“It’s well-deserved after 12 league matches. We now want to continue like this -or place even higher. We'll give 110 percent in every game, doing what the coach asks of us. We're working very hard and have a lot of confidence in ourselves. We hope to take all three points this coming Monday," he said.

However, Dolan also revealed that he had a tough October.

"I wasn't at my best, but that's no excuse. Now I'm feeling like myself again, and that's been evident in the last two matches."

“Espanyol are an incredible club. Since I signed, everyone has welcomed me warmly, like one of their own. That makes it a real family club, and I’m very grateful.”

He also commented that “the international break has been good for us to disconnect, but now we’re thinking about the match against Sevilla. We’re confident and hope to take all three points.”
