Dolan: “Now is the time to stick together and stay positive”
Dolan has analysed the team’s current situation, highlighting unity, mental strength and collective hard work as the keys to turning recent results around.
“The results haven’t been good for us. Now is the time to stick together as a group,” said the player, reminding everyone that the team showed its potential just a few weeks ago. “In December we were in a very good moment, but it’s true that January has been a bit tougher. We’re motivated to turn things around and we’re working hard in training”.
With experience in difficult situations, Dolan stressed the importance of staying calm and united both on and off the pitch. “I’ve been through many tough moments as a team. We have to stick together, keep the fans engaged and stay positive even in difficult times”. In this regard, he highlighted the team’s strong first half of the season: “We shouldn’t forget that we had a very good first part of the season. We were confident and beat some big teams”.
The player also underlined the importance of the mental side of the game. “Mentality is one of the most important things in football. I believe 90 per cent of it is mental”. Despite the pressure in the standings, Dolan remains confident: “We’re still in a good position in the league. Other teams are closing the gap, but it’s our job to keep them behind us”.
Finally, he sent a message of ambition and commitment, both personally and collectively. “The lads are motivated and 110 per cent ready. I’m more focused than ever myself on performing well again”.
