Cyril Ngonge joins RCD Espanyol on loan
The Belgian is added to the squad through to the end of the season
Cyril Ngonge has joined RCD Espanyol until the end of the season, after a loan agreement was reached with parent club SSC Napoli.
The striker, a Belgian youth international, came up through the ranks at Club Brugge and made his first-team debut in 2018. A season later, he was loaned to Dutch side PSV Eindhoven and subsequently transferred to RKC Waalwijk and then Groningen. After his time in the Eeredivisie, Ngonge has continued his professional career in Italy since 2023, playing for Hellas Verona and SSC Napoli, with whom he has a contract until 2028 and with whom he won the Scudetto last season.
He was most recently out on loan at Torino FC, where he played the first half of the Italian Serie A season.
Ngonge initially joins RCD Espanyol on loan, although the club have a non-mandatory option to buy him at the end of the current season.
