Clemens Riedel joins RCD Espanyol

The defender signs for Los Pericos

RCD Espanyol have reached an agreement to sign Clemens Riedel from SV Darmstadt 98, on a contract through to June 30th, 2029.

Riedel, who has played for Germany at youth level, underwent his medical this Monday at the Corachan Clinic in Barcelona. The new signing, who captained his team last season, plays at centre back, although he can also play as a midfielder.

Riedel made 33 appearances for SV Darmstadt 98 last season, scoring one goal.
