Calero: "We want to keep picking up points"
The RCD Espanyol player sets his sights on RCD Mallorca
Fernando Calero, like his teammates, is keeping their feet firmly on the ground ahead of Espanyol's upcoming fixtures for the remainder of September.
The defender commented on Friday that "a break is always good," but asserted that the team are "eager to get back, to maintain the momentum we've got, and we want to keep adding to our points tally."
The RCD Espanyol mainstay added that “Monday's match against Mallorca will be very difficult, and we have to perform as well as we have until now. We have to focus on this game and hope everything goes well."
“Mallorca are a great team. It will be a hard-fought, close game that will be decided based on a small amount of chances."
“In our favour, however, is the atmosphere we've got at the stadium. That's a plus that's being seen in the results. So, we encourage everyone to come out this Monday, because they're an important part of us achieving victory."
