25 years of loyalty celebrated

Members who registered in the year 2000 are honoured for a quarter-century of commitment

This Wednesday, RCD Espanyol de Barcelona held an official ceremony at the RCDE Stadium to honour members who have reached 25 years with the club. Nearly 500 Pericos were celebrated during this event, which served as a tribute to a quarter-century of commitment and loyalty.

The honorees registered as members in the year 2000, which saw the club's centenary celebrations and their third Copa del Rey win. Key figures from that trophy-winning team -Martín Posse, Toni Velamazán, Pablo Rotchen, Manel Martínez, and Dr. Edu Mauri. shared their memories and anecdotes from that memorable final and unforgettable season.

The event also featured a testimonial from Miquel Parejo, the first member to join during the centenary year. Finally, RCD Espanyol de Barcelona President Alan Pace concluded the ceremony with a speech.

The honourees received a commemorative diploma and had the opportunity to take photos with the 2000 Copa del Rey trophy and the former players.
