Àlex Calatrava, first signing

The Catalan forward joins RCD Espanyol de Barcelona for the next five seasons

Àlex Calatrava (Barcelona, 22/06/2000) has become the first signing of the summer market, following the agreement reached between RCD Espanyol de Barcelona and CD Castellón.

Trained in the youth categories of clubs with a long tradition in Catalan football such as UA Horta, UE Sant Andreu, CF Parets, UE Sants and UE Costa Brava, ‘Cala’ arrived at Atlético de Madrid’s reserve team, with whom he achieved promotion to Primera RFEF. Later, he signed for CD Castellón, where he has established himself as one of the best players in LALIGA Hypermotion, playing a total of 75 matches, scoring 21 goals and providing 19 assists.
